Intellectual Property & 3D Printing Policy
At JAHORA, we are committed to protecting intellectual property rights, ensuring compliance with applicable laws in the United States, the European Union, and other relevant jurisdictions, and clearly defining responsibilities related to digital models and 3D-printed products. This policy governs all digital models, user-submitted content, and physical goods produced from such models on our platform.
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies to all 3D model files (including but not limited to STL, OBJ, STEP formats), physical products manufactured via 3D printing, product previews, renderings, descriptions, and all content uploaded, distributed, or sold through JAHORA.
2. Source of Models
Models available on JAHORA originate from two primary sources. First, original models created internally by JAHORA using professional 3D design tools. Second, user-submitted models provided by third-party creators, including customers, partners, or independent designers.
By submitting content to JAHORA, contributors represent and warrant that they are the lawful owner of the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions. Contributors further confirm that their content does not infringe any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, design rights, or trade dress.
3. Ownership and Licensing
All intellectual property rights remain with the original creator or rights holder unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By submitting content, contributors grant JAHORA a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable (for operational purposes), and sublicensable (only as necessary for manufacturing and logistics) license to host, reproduce, display, modify for technical or production purposes (such as scaling or slicing), manufacture physical products, and distribute or sell the content.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all models and printed products are provided for personal or internal business use only. Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or sharing of digital files is strictly prohibited. Users who wish to resell printed products, use models for commercial manufacturing, or distribute derivative works must obtain explicit written authorization or purchase an appropriate commercial license. JAHORA reserves the right to define and enforce licensing tiers, including personal use licenses, commercial use licenses, and extended manufacturing licenses.
4. 3D Printing Responsibility and Risk Allocation
JAHORA provides digital model distribution and, in some cases, manufacturing services. However, all responsibility for end use remains with the user.
JAHORA shall not be responsible for how models are used after download, what objects are produced using the models, or whether such use results in infringement of third-party rights.
Users agree that they will not use models to create infringing products, reproduce protected brands, characters, or patented designs without authorization, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Where JAHORA provides 3D printing services, production is based on user-provided or platform-available files. JAHORA does not independently verify ownership of each model, and legal responsibility remains with the customer placing the order.
5. Compliance with Applicable Laws
JAHORA operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to United States and European Union legal frameworks governing intellectual property and digital services.
JAHORA acts as an intermediary service provider and is not obligated to proactively monitor all content. However, upon obtaining knowledge of potential infringement, JAHORA will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the relevant content.
6. Prohibited Content
Users may not upload, distribute, or sell content that infringes any intellectual property rights, contains unauthorized trademarks, logos, or copyrighted materials, violates applicable laws or regulations, or misrepresents ownership or authorship. JAHORA reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion.
7. Notice and Takedown Procedure
If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed, you may submit a notice including identification of the protected work, the location or URL of the allegedly infringing content, evidence of ownership, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information provided is accurate under penalty of perjury.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, JAHORA will review the claim, remove or restrict access to the content where appropriate, and notify the content provider.
8. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including identification of the removed content, an explanation of why the removal was incorrect, your contact information, consent to applicable jurisdiction, and a statement made under penalty of perjury. JAHORA may restore the content if the dispute is not escalated to legal proceedings.
9. Repeat Infringer Policy
JAHORA maintains a strict policy against repeat infringement and reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts, permanently remove content, and restrict access to platform services for users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights.
10. Safe Harbor Statement
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JAHORA operates as a hosting and distribution platform, does not actively monitor all user-generated content, and is not liable for content uploaded by users. JAHORA relies on rights holders to notify us of potential infringements and will act promptly upon receiving valid notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAHORA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, or any claims arising from user-generated content or misuse of models.
12. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JAHORA from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from uploaded or distributed content, violation of intellectual property rights, or misuse of models or services.
13. Creator Collaboration
JAHORA welcomes creators to collaborate and distribute their models through the platform. We are committed to respecting ownership rights, protecting intellectual property, and establishing transparent licensing agreements. Creators interested in partnership opportunities are encouraged to contact us.
